AIPN Student Bursaries

The AIPN will award three Student Bursaries to the value of $1000. Winners of the student prizes will be announced at the closing ceremony. To be eligible you must:

1. Be a full-time student. Evidence of full-time student status will be required.
2. Indicate on your application form that you wish to be considered.
3. Have an abstract accepted for a full oral presentation.
4. Have paid your conference registration fee.

AIPN Awards

The AIPN calls for nominations for the 9th AIPN Awards to be presented at the Conference Dinner, Monday July 27 th 2009 . There are three award categories to acknowledge the diversity of AIPN member's contributions:

- Research
- Practice
- Policy

Nominees for these three awards need to be AIPN members.

In addition, there may be a Special Award for sustained achievement over a professional career to recognise important contributions at State, national and international levels. This award recognises both AIPN and non AIPN members.

Selection criteria for all categories include excellence in communication skills, collaborative work, mentoring of junior colleagues, originality of contribution and overall contribution to injury prevention. Nominations will be reviewed by the Awards Committee. The decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Please complete the following nomination form and, together with a citation (maximum of 250 words) detailing the nominee's achievements, send it to the AIPN Secretary by close of business on Friday 29 May 2009.
